Dr. Shen is, given his name and the voice actor who plays him (François Chau), probably not white.
I’m sorry, but I visually see him as white, and I thought that his accent sounded German the entire time. I’m not sure if it is a problem with me or with the game, but the fact that I can make the mistake says some interesting things about the racial politics of the game.
I think it it says FAR more about you and your assumptions. In order to ensure that no on could “make the mistake” they’d have to resort to making him very stereotypical, and would then be ripped apart for that.
